Pension with us
You build up a pension with Pension Fund Euroclear Nederland. Building up a pension actually means that there is a personal pension pot to which an amount is deposited monthly.
From your retirement date, you will receive a pension payment from us.
You build up the following pensions with us:
- Old age pension
- Partner pension
- Orphan's pension
Old age pension
Money for later is called old age pension. This is a monthly payment that you receive from the date you retire until the moment you die. The amount of your old age pension depends on 2 factors:
- The number of years you have participated in the
pension scheme of Euroclear Netherlands Pension Fund
- The amount of your salary. You build up a percentage
of your salary.
Partner pension
If you die, your partner may be entitled to a partner's pension. With us, you build up a partner's pension. With an accrued partner's pension, money is deposited into a separate reserve every month. This is intended for the partner's pension. Your partner will receive this accrued partner's pension after your death. The amount is in principle 70% of the old-age pension that you could have achieved. Have you been married before? Then your ex-partner may be entitled to special partner pension.
Orphan's pension
Do you have children under the age of 18? They are entitled to an orphan's pension when you die. The orphan's pension is 14% of the old-age pension that you would have accrued if you had continued to work at Euroclear until your retirement date.
